Well, as you can very much see, the blogskin has once again been changed.
Only did this so that I can access all my old posts and friends' blogs.
Come to think of it, this blogskin's a little dull, but I like the way the posts are very clear, font and all.
AND, my Rejected Polaroids is back on ! Haha.
It was always Rejected Polaroids but the Ohio is for Lovers before this (that came together with the previous skin) could not be taken off, and therefore was stuck with it.
Oh wells, now it's gone ( :
And everything else's is back ( :
Just my blogskin's not very interesting.
I'm off to hunt for one.
Oh and yesterday, all the students taking Law in A Levels got to go to the Palace of Justice, Putrajaya, now called Istana Kehakiman.
Which to me, is basically the same thing, but in BM -.-
As usual, all dressed up in dull tones, ranging from black to grey to brown to white to blue and purple.
No reds oranges pinks lime greens there.
I guess it's true that lawyers do most of the time wear black, not just for formality, but to mask their true feelings when they step into court to defend/prosecute someone, at times knowing that the defendant is actually guilty.
It was fun, what with FionaGan, JiaWei, YingXian being their usual self ie. genuine lame Unggas
HAHAHA.
Semester holidays are here. And I'm not happy.
I dread driving lessons. Because my instructor is really, really char.
I'm not exaggerating. He's nice, not hot tempered or anything, just extremely unclear.
First lesson d, I had to do U-turns and traffic lights and everything else imaginable.
It'd've been totally fine, had he been guiding me.
All he says (even now) is like, "Ok, make U-turn over here."
Okay fine. So 1st lesson, I thought simple : signal right, and.. just turn the wheel.
I was in gear 4 mind you.
Mana tau, before I knew it I was U-turning, but without power steering, I had to turn the wheel back myself. And I didn't knw that. Cos he didn't see fit to tell me that on my 1st lesson.
So yes, the little Kancil veered a tad to the left.
Fine, a lot to the left.
The most preposterous thing is, after the majestically done U-turn by a 1st timer in gear 4 (only because no one told me to change gear then), he can say :
"Why never change gear ? Supposed to change to gear 3 then 2. How can on gear 4 ??"
"I didn't know have to do that ma."
"Must change gear wan. Next time remember to change."
HELLO ?! I didn't forget. I just simply didn't know seeing as you forgot to enlighten me.
Oh, let me tell you dear readers, there have been so so SO many more instances like that. With roundabouts you're encountering for the first time where he just assumes he has told you, or just thinks you should know, what to do. If you stone, he goes, "Don't worry, relax relax, why so tense ? Relax la"
Padahal, you are relaxing, just stoning because dnt knw wht to do next.
And I am not the only one that has alotalot of touble with his teaching methods.
My friend, under the same instructor, complained to me after her first lesson.
"Everything also must ask him wan u know ! Why he so unclear ? It's like he never explain, just ask you to go."
And I so totally agree with her.
To sum it up, I'm not happy it's the holidays.
Main reason : It's packed with driving lessons. Packed, I tell you.
More nerve-wrecking driving, only because there's just no one beside you to guide you.
I'm a decent driver, I really am. Been driving with my father, see.
And I could be so much better with a manual car, if I had someone better to teach me.
Now I just hate manual cars, because it fails to occur to him to let me know to change gear or clutch etc when encountering new things I've nvr done before.
How pleasant.
And that is why I've been/I'm down this few weeks.
On a lighter note, DavidChang is gracing us with his presence on the 24th of June ! Hoorah.
He drives a manual over there.
So I dnt care, he may be dying of exhaustion when he touches down in Melayland, I'm still dragging him out to drive with me (using someone's, anyone's car, seeing as neither of my parents own a manual car), what with my JPJ TEST THE NEXT DAY.
What a change in 'welcome home' presents huh.
