Won't you just come out already.

"To be released... To be released..."

Won't you just come out already. !! Gah. Lol.

So I think I'll start something new to entertain you people. Haha :P

I'll post up quotations of other people talking about how their life sucks, so that you won't feel so bad. Not, that I'm saying your life sucks haha, but everyone could do with a little pick-me-up once in a while :) Even if that pick-me-up comes in the form of reading about other people's misadventures and malangness and sympathising with them. Some are just for laughs, cos they are just plain weird & disturbing. Hoho.

All these are real life experiences by the way, and are people with real problems.

So here's one :

"Today, I opened some small cute birthday gifts at my boyfriend's house. As we left to go out, he slipped me a Tiffany box and said he wanted me to open it in private. Flushed and excited, I opened it to find a ziploc filled with hair. It was his mustache I had been begging him to shave for months."
LOLOLL

And another :

"Today, I bust my lip when a car bumped into mine. As I headed home, I was stopped by the police who told me my back light was out. I tried to explain, but it just came out as "fghjiljh" because of my lip. I was arrested on suspicion of drinking and driving."

And another one cos this is just so funny :

"Today, I was walking through a heavy door at work, so I reached behind me to catch it so it wouldn't slam shut. Little did I know that my boss was walking through right after me. Instead of catching the door, I caught a handful of his crotch."
HAHAHAHA LOL!! I actually thought that the door slammed into the boss' face or something. Right now I'm thinking it's a lady, but IMAGINE, if it was a guy who grabbed his boss' crotch!! HAHA!!

You just have to read this one :

"Today, I said to the pool-boy of my house : "I know what you are doing and you have to stop it." He started shouting that I had no right to tell them what to do and that they were in love. He was referring to his relationship with my eldest son. I was referring to him drinking my beers."
HAHAHA

I duno what to say :

"Today, I was driving on the freeway when I got a call from my friend explaining that our 2 best friends died in a car accident. I pulled over in hysterics and a police officer came to see what was wrong. I explained what happened and he gave me a ticket for talking on the phone while driving."
Malangnyerr.

Last one, I promise :

"Today, my girlfriend of 2 years told me she was pregnant. I started freaking out, so she put her arm around me and said,
"Don't worry,
it's not yours."
OH GOSH, LOLL.

So, you don't have it so bad after all eh? Haha.

Make it decided in 8.5 seconds.

Hehe.

So.

I'm gona be in Bukit Jalil tmw night, catching the 2nd, unexpected, Man U vs Msia match!

Lol! Funny stuff man :

First, I'm no MU fan. I actually support any team that's not MU, when Arsenal's not playing, during matches with MU in them, but Arsenal's dying now anyways lol.

Second, I made the decision to go in, approximately, 8.5 seconds. 8, when I went, Er, and 0.5 when I went, Ok! Hahahaha I was on the line with Andrew Tan, who so very kindly bought my ticket, when he sprang the question, "You wana go or not? There's still one more. I mean I have money to get one more ticket." And after a few seconds of hesitation, 7.9 to match what I said above, I decided to go. Hahaha. Maybe I'll wear an Arsenal jersey and ask Rooney to sign it. Heh. I think that's what my bro's friend is doing, except with a Liverpool one. Lol! :P

Third, I randomly asked Miriam if she wanted to go, I have no idea why, but I just wanted to ask her. Mana tau, she agreed! Hahahaha I never knew she did football :P But all's good cos it'll be our first football match seeing them footballers in flesh! Actually, not for Miriam though, because, she freaking saw Henry, as in THIERRY HENRY, walking on the streets in Paris, France!! Unfortunately, Andrew did not have enough money, he had to buy 6 tickets before that, and was also already out of the line, so I had to go queue up in Parade to get Mim's tic. Took a while, but managed to get my hands on it hee :DD

Anyways, on a separate note, Public Enemies was super on for me man! I liked it :)

Harry Potter 6 was a bit of a disappointment, altered a lot of stuff. The goods and the bads :

Goods :

I really liked some scenes, especially the ones with Ron in them, he just seriously acts so well : the Keeper tryouts scene, the in-love-with-Romilda-Vane one, and the one where he gets poisoned. Cool acting :)

The way there portrayed the Vanishing Cabinets, I thought was brilliant, it being in a triangle-ish shape thingy.

Dumbledore's black hand, not bad. The ring looks not bad.

Cormac McLaggen. Haha. I thought he would look burly and big and ugly, but hey, he's quite good-looking haha.

I liked the Quidditch scenes :)

The bads :

NO EMO DUMBLEDORE'S FUNERAL!! No white tomb, no crying, no chance to show Harry's conviction to stop school and head off on his own to destroy the remaining Horcruxes.

THEY TOTALLY MISSED OUT THE HOUSE OF GAUNT MEMORY!!
Meaning, there're NO Morfin, Merope, Marvolo etcetc. I'm like.. What?! Cos I really wanted to see how Voldermort's mom & granddad look like. And I just wanted to see how they would portray that whole scene yknow, with the dead snake hanging from the door etcetc. Tapi, betapa sedihnya aku bila aku sedar bahawa tiada such scenenya.

Very disappointed in the fact that there was NO fighting scenes AT ALL between the Aurors & Death Eaters, it just went straight to them burning Hagrid's hut. Ish.

The green lake in the cave, is not even green. Not a faint hint of green glow pun. Lol.

Still feel that Daniel & Emma Watson cannot act. Harry & Hermione are like, stone, or fake. Like most of us feel that they can't portray the emotions strongly enough. In sad scenes, Hermione is just frowning, with her eyebrows coming together and looking all... Pathetic? Okay, too harsh, erm.. Forlorn? Whatever lah, just that it doesn't sampai the tahap of sadness she should be showing. I mean, Dumbledore DIED for crying out loud. Lol. I do like her dress though, the one at Slughorn's party.

In the book, it was Tonks that found Harry, not LUNA, on the train where he got Petrificus Totalus-ed. There were so few scenes of Tonks, too :/

Oh oh OH AND, in the book, Harry uses the Invisibility Cloak to get into the Slytherin compartment thing, NOT Peruvian Total Blackness Powder or whatever the crap it is.

I know la this are minor things, but then.. I duno, it's like they altered a lot of stuff. I mean, dahlah they cut a lot of things, cos tak cukup masa, but they alter things somemore. If cut scenes but accurately portray the remaining ones, then tak begitu teruk yknow. Yang ini ar, tukar here tukar there. Aih.

But the effects were good la yknow. The ending, for me and a lot of others, super potong can die.

Watchmen! I liked it :)

17 Again was highly enjoyable for me :):)) Not, because of the Zac Efron stuff, but cos it's just so funny! And quite cool lah like how he realizes it's not all about basketball but more of helping his kids out. I feel that Zac Efron looks much better here than in High School Musical, although HSM3 was quite good for him too, looks wise, compared to HSM1 & 2.

Imma go watch The Notebook again now haha. That's a pretty good movie too :) I like how they start off with the old man telling the story to the old woman, and how it plays out, like flashback, then present and then back again. :)

Make it Gilles de la Tourette Syndrome

I really encourage all of you to watch Phoebe In Wonderland.
This movie is brilliant and a little strange, and wonderfully unique, starring Felicity Huffman, Patricia Clarkson, Elle Fanning, Bill Pullman, Campbell Scott.
It is heart-warming and may make you tear to see Phoebe struggle through and cope with her disorder.

In a nutshell, it is a fantastical tale of a little girl who won't - or can't - follow the rules. She is confounded by her clashes with the rule-obsessed world around her; Why can't she just follow the 'rules'? Why is it that she can't be 'normal'? Why is it that she has to count? Why does she have to keep on washing her hands until they bleed?

A school play, Alice In Wonderland, provides an escape for Phoebe, who acts like a normal kid then, without the twitching of shoulders & fingers, the imitation of other's sentences, the spitting, the OCD.

The story slowly unrevels to show what Phoebe really has, which is Gilles de la Tourette Syndrome together with OCD, which stands for Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. And these miraculously disappear when she is in her happy place, when she is enjoying herself in the play rehearsals.

Why I encourage you to watch this movie is because of 2 reasons, one, because it accurately shows the true symptoms of OCD. Many ppl say they have OCD when they are particular about things; Cleanliness, Tidiness, doing things the only in their way etc, but some never really understand the true extent of how OCD really affects people.

It's so much more than just being particular about something, it stretches to the extent where people with OCD hurt themselves because of what they have to do. And the explanation as to why they have to do this particular thing is that, they just have to, they have to do it until it feels right. And trust me, you wouldn't understand this unless you either have it or you know a friend who has OCD, the REAL OCD.

The other reason is because I feel that by watching this movie, more of you will be familiar with the neurological disorder, Tourette's Syndrome. It is very well portrayed in Phoebe In Wonderland, except that she doesn't tic very boldly. But the spontaneous utterance of socially objectionable or taboo words or phrases, the repeating of the words of others and repeating one's own words are all there. The counting is also there.

I really hope that this movie will expose more of you to what this syndrome is so that you may not be so ignorant as to comment, "Why is she so noisy?" or "Why is she blinking so hard? So weird..." or "What is she doing? What a retard.", should you meet anyone with Tourette's syndrome. These unwarranted audible comments, though they may not seem to affect them, actually hurts and frustrates these individuals who are already struggling to cope with not just this syndrome but also problems from their everyday life which both you and I go through.

I have a friend of 19, with both OCD & Tourette's (they usually come together) and I'm very proud of the person she has grown into. She did not get depressed, or should I say, stay depressed, but emerged as this vibrant, honest and outspoken young lady who is not afraid to dream and to pursue what she wants. Sure, it gets tough when she meets new people who do not understand her syndrome, but instead of feeling angry and upset, I think she sees it as an opportunity to educate others about Tourette's.

There was this time when she was in KLCC, and this girl of a race I shall not mention, turned behind and went "Sewel ar??" in the most obnoxious way possible. Wah, I tell you ar, I felt like, and still feel like, punching her face man. Lol. Beh tahan people making snide remarks without finding out first why she does what she does. Ignorant, self-centred, pea-brained people.
Why must they be so unkind?

People with Tourette's lead a normal life; They laugh, they eat, they gossip, they have crushes, they smile, they cry, they study hard, they go to the movies, they do sports, they attend BBQs, they go for tuition, they shit, they have a sense of humour, they go shopping, they watch football, they have celebrity idols, they play the piano, they like to dress up, and so many more things they do. I'm just trying to show you how most of them do the same mundane things we do. And I'm sure they don't want our sympathy, just a little understanding.

Like my friend says, "Sometimes, even to live is an act of courage."
Which is so true in this cold, cruel and skeptical world of ours.
