Attended a wedding ceremony today at 11am, at First Baptist Church, Pantai.

None other than Patrick Cheng Yee & Selena Tan's ! ((( :
So I was supposed to usher with MiriamTiong, DeniseCheong, PaulynnYu, TzuAnne & Paulynn's friend. The colours for the theme were pretty pastel. So we were required to be dressed in light purple, pink, cream or white.
Okay lor, open cupboard look at all my dresses... sei lor.
3/4 of my dresses are black (either fully or black base with design).
And the ones that are not are like bright colourful sundresses.
Macam mana la dei.
I like black la. But that's kinda obvious so haha.
Frantic texting to college friends was a total must.
The next day, I went home from college looking as if I just got back from a shopping spree.
2 bagfulls of dresses, brought home 8 dresses in total haha. All of different colours.
But in the end, lol, borrowed from another friend hahaha.
But thanks so much YingXian, GionaFan, oops sorry I meant FionaGan, too lazy to press 'backspace' lol, and also MandyLau !
So ushers were supposed to be in church by 9.30 to help fold booklets, get the guestbooks ready etc. And we were running really late ! Booklets not so easy to fold wan wei. Haha. Cos it wasn't the ones you fold in half which I somehow thought would be the case. It's actually like fold an A4 into 3 parts but the 3 parts are not like all facing together. It's supposed to look like this --> /\/ if you look at it from the top. Like how a chinese fan is folded kinda thing. And there were no guidelines. And the paper was super thick. And there were so many to fold.
But with the help of the worship team & other ppl, we managed to get it done hooray ( :
And normally in some cases the bride is always late kinda thing.
Selena was not on time, she reached 5/10 minutes earlier hahaha.
So rush like insane lor.

Couldn't get better shots cos as ushers we were sitting nearest to the front exit, which meant I was right at the left end, furthest from the middle haha.

Since wedding cakes are always fake, only a real layer for the newly weds to cut, Hann & Su-Anne's auntie, who is a totally awesome baker/cake decorator (refer to my April post, Make it a splendid kick off, to see the super maju masquerade cake she made for Su-Anne's birthday), made little cupcakes which you can see there at the bottom surrounding the 6 pillars. They were not only so awesomely cute but they tasted good as well ( :
Adrienne & I. The dress I'm wearing, it's hers. Actually, she wanted to wear the same dress for the wedding too ! Haha, but I was so desperate lol and she's such a dear. So she ended up wearing what she calls a Barney dress haha ! Just cos it's purple & green. But it's really nice too !
